Following a request from Abbey Chat, the local community newspaper, Swindon Council has confirmed that Abbey Meads is probably the worst area in the borough affected by 'dog fouling'.
In response, the dog warden has carried out a walkabout, several letters have been sent to offending dog walkers and the CPSO has also carried out a walkabout with the dog warden.This is an issue which we take seriously as 'dog fouling' is a blight on the community and a health hazard, particularly to the young.It is vital that dog owners are responsible and clean up.
