
Councillor Owen Lister has been confirmed as the Conservative candidate for Abbey Meads, for the Swindon Borough Council Elections, and will therefore be seeking re-election on Thursday 10th June.
Councillor Owen Lister has already served for four years as one of the Abbey Meads Councillors, along with fellow Conservatives, Councillor Justin Tomlinson & Councillor Peter Stoddart.
Councillor Owen Lister has worked tirelessly for the residents of Abbey Meads focusing on: planning, education, development and financial issues. Owen has also lead on numerous local campaigns such as McDonalds, School Places, Development Adoption problems. It is only the Conservatives who work in Abbey Meads, with local communication all year round. Owen is a retired Doctor and currently serves as a School Governor at the local Bridlewood Primary School and the temporary Governing Body of the proposed new Secondary School on the Northern Education campus.
