Cllr Owen Lister and the Conservative Party fully support a parents right to choose the school of their choice for their children.
Many local parents are furious that their children have not been offered a place in their local school. Our popular local schools are full, and the Labour Government prevents these schools from expanding whilst schools as far away as Penhill and Moredon have surplus places.
Cllr Owen Lister will continue to fight for expansion of our local schools, allowing local parents a proper and reasonable choice.
