Cllr Justin Tomlinson has welcomed the Conservative plans to introduce toughter design codes for future development. "It is a disgrace that too many areas have been developed with little or no thought for the future. Local residents rightly complain about insufficient car-parking, narrow roads and poor open space. Labour ignored these problems for too long, no wonder you never see them in Abbey Meads."
