Local Residents Celebrate With Cllr's Tomlinson & Stoddart After
The KFC Plans Were Thrown Out
It is believed we could be only 2 weeks from Mitchell & Butlers submitting plans for the Ash Brake land that had been previously targeted by KFC and McDonalds.
It is believed the plans will include a family restaurant and accomodation.
If this is the case, this is great news as we can then work with the developers to make sure the site is not overdeveloped, and is in keeping with the local area.
Mitchell & Butlers already own the adjacent Toby Cavery site, so have experience of working in the local area.
This will bring an end to the four years of uncertainty, battling with the KFC and McDonalds to protect local residents from an unsuitable development.
