Tony Blair has launched Labour's latest plans to crack down on anti-social behaviour, his ninth such promise.
During Tony's visit to Swindon he saw first hand, real action, using the free Swindon Services graffiti removal machine. This has made a real difference to clearing up graffiti across Swindon, which I, as lead member for Swindon Services, launched.
Residents had long complained that under the Labour Council you had to pay up to £65 to remove graffiti from your home, so I took £40,000 from the council's IT budget and spent it on this excellent service. Any resident who requires graffiti removal should call 01793 463463.
With the annual council tax hikes under Labour ended, two stars in the CPA rating, major improvements in Education and Social Services, and a nearly weekly resignation of a Labour Councillor, here in Swindon we Conservatives just like to get on with the job!
