In recent months, I have been working with local residents and the Oakhurst Residents Association in relation to the proposed H6 Development (by Southwold Close) to make changes to the proposed plans for the new housing estate.
This issue was also covered in the recent 'Link Magazine'
We have now had confirmation that we have been successful in both reducing the density of the housing, and the addition of a cul-de-sac layout which will ensure even distribution of traffic, and prevent the potential 'race track' will the previously planned looped road development.
Cllr Justin Tomlinson, "This has been an ongoing issue, and two weeks ago I brought the developers, planning officers and local residents together to discuss the concerns. This has brought about the revised plans which have addressed the main issues."
