Serious Issues Can Not Be Ignored
I am extremely disappointed that the former Labour Councillor Derek Bye has tried to make a cheap personal attack out of what is a very serious issue. (Letters page 01/11/07)
Derek has completely missed the point. No one has questioned the high quality service offered by the Abbey Meads medical centre; I have friends and family who are very satisfied users. However a number of local residents have contacted me with the genuine concerns of having to use a premium rate telephone service to book an appointment. As their elected Councillor it is right and proper for me to highlight this issue.
