Following our last public meeting with the Priory Vale Village Centre / Pub developer, ourselves and The Link Magazine are continuing to apply pressure for regular updates on the scheme. A review of progress was also discussed at a recent meeting with ourselves and Blunsdon Parish Council.
The developer is currently signing off the sale of the pub site, with legal documents with the respective solicitors. In addition discussion has been had over the provision of community facilities in particular potential dual use with the church as is the case with the Abbey Meads village centre.
Working with The Link Magazine we are hoping to hold another public meeting / forum where the developer can discuss the latest update in particular for the proposed pub this is expected for the New Year.
Conservative Council candidate Vera Tomlinson, As local residents we are right to be frustrated at the slow progress of the developer to deliver much needed facilities in Priory Vale. Developers have to deliver on the promised of their glossy leaflets used to sell us their homes.
