07/01/08 - Public House / Restaurant & 102 Bedroom Hotel, Planning Application

An updated planning application will becoming to Swindon Council's planning meeting on Tuesday 8th January for the erection of a Public House / Restaurant & 102 Bedroom Hotel on land at Turnpike Roundabout (former Motorola land), Thamesdown Drive.

The design will reflect the industrial nature of the adjacent buildings by borrowing design from both Motorola & David Lloyd.

The Public House / Restaurant will be a Harvester, as part of the Mitchell & Butler chain.  (Who also own the Toby Carvery & Blunsdon Arms both also in the Abbey Meads ward).

This application has been recommended for APPROVAL.
