Local residents in Oakhurst who recently lost their broadband connections have been getting back online over the last month. Disruption was caused by BT transferring many of the connections to the new BT exchange box they had built to cope with the rising demand for phone lines and broadband in the Northern Sector.
Local residents in areas such as Taw Hill are now also able to get online, with a number of local residents finally connected after years of waiting for spare capacity at the local BT exchanges.
Cllr Justin Tomlinson, "As a local resident myself I have had to wait 18 months to get access to Broadband, however this is now possible as BT have added an additional exchange box as the old Blunsdon exchange was full."
