We have been working with Council Officers to press the developers to improve the standard of street cleaning, litter picking and removal / prevention of dog mess across the Northern Sector.
The developers have agreed more needs to be done and have spoken to the various contractors which cover the unadopted areas (which are the responsibility of the developers) of the need to improve the levels of work carried out.
They have also agreed to provide an additional two dog bins in LOS 15 & LOS 18, which is above and beyond what they were legally obliged to do.
Cllr Justin Tomlinson, "As a local resident myself I will continue to keep pressing for our local area to be kept clean and tidy. We all paid enough for our houses, so it is the least we can expect from the various developers."
