
A man was slashed across the stomach as he walked in Taw Hill on Monday night.
The 20-year-old was walking on a lane linking Queen Elizabeth Drive and Prospect Way when he was approached by two men between 11pm and 11.15pm.
The men tried to engage him in conversation and one of them then slashed his stomach with a bladed item. They ran off in the direction of Asda Wal-Mart.
The victim needed stitches.
