We have been flooded by complaints from local residents about the typically nasty and negative Labour resident survey. Will they ever learn? This desperate form of campaigning is rejected EVERY single year in the local elections. (Last year we secured a staggering 76% of the vote!) The survey smacked of the small child who takes his football home in a sulk when his team lets in a goal. As local residents why would we not work with anyone to help improve an area and if we were really so bad why is it four Labour Councillors were so ashamed of their conduct they crossed the floor and joined the Conservatives?!
In response we have produced our own resident survey which is being distributed to all houses, focusing on the key local issues. As your Conservative Councillors, we work extremely hard all year round to represent you. As local residents ourselves we have always focused on positive campaigning and action.
We will use the information to continue to help improve our local area, facilities and services.
