
A meeting has been held with developers Crest who are under a legal obligation to deliver the village centre infrastructure.
House building as you know has slowed considerably but we did have a positive discussion about the facilities in the centre.
The pub site continues to be marketed and it is likely that a smaller pub may be interested.
Previously the church site had proved too expensive, however with the fall in land values original expressions of interest are being revisited.
In addition they are pressing for additional restaurants and a pharmacy to be secured as part of the on going development.
We will keep you informed as and when these come in for planning permission.
