Having been contacted by local residents about open space being left to overgrow and weeds covering the cobbled paths. Bovis Homes who remain responsible for this land (prior to adoption due next year) have not maintained the area to a satisfactory standard.
Swindon Council have now chased Bovis directly to request an immediate improvement to the area, in particular the need for regular weed killing.
Cllr Justin Tomlinson, "Yet again we are having to chase developers who are quick to take the cash from selling a home, but are poor to maintain an area. We hope Bovis will respond swiftly to our request.''
