North Cluster Public Meeting
Monday October 19th - 15:30-19:30
Connecting People Connecting Places
Independence & Well Being
North Swindon Library
Following on from our extremely successful public meeting on 'Leisure Time', we have organised our next informal public meeting to cover 'Independence & Well Being'.
Cllr Justin Tomlinson, "This event will be of interest to everyone who is keen to remain active and lead an independent life. For example, there will be advice and support available to help keep people whose circumstances have changed during the recession in their homes and to reassure those who are concerned about community safety. There will also be ideas on how people can get more involved in their local community.
This event will give Swindon Council, the Police the Primary Care Trust, local Parish Councils and other local organisations an opportunity to talk to residents about the services and support available , as well as for residents to talk to the organisations about their needs and concerns."
The library is normally closed on a Monday but will be open for business during this time.
Local residents are welcome to come and visit the various stands and as this is an informal meeting you come along for as long or as short as you like. We hope this will be another useful public meeting.
