An open event to view the proposed plans for the extension St Francis has been organised for Wednesday, 4th November from 3pm until 7 pm.
All plans will be on display with representatives from the Architects and Project Management team on hand to answer questions.
Following consultation with local residents already, the design has been changed to move the building further away from your properties and to increase the amount of landscaping between the school and the properties on Queen Elizabeth Drive. The materials that would be used for any build will be in keeping with the original school building except for roof which would be aluminium. The reason for this is that a slate roof would increase the height by over 1m. To make the roof blend in it will be colour coated to the colour of the tiles on the existing school.
