Following on from our annual residents survey, one issue that was raised repeatadly was the issue with a large volume of water ponding on the carriageway.
The highways team have now resurfaced part of the crossing andwe arehappy that we have removed, by far, the majority of water which was ponding in this area.
Cllr Justin Tomlinson, "I am delighted that yet another issue has been addressed following the feedback from local residents through our resident survey. This will make a real difference to the hundreds of people who use this crossing everyday, who on a wet dayideally needed to beequiped with a swimming costume to deal with the pool of water and splashing from passing vehicles."
