ABBEY MEADS WARD - Electorate 10,695

Councillor Vera Tomlinson was elected in a landslide victory.  Voters overwhemingly rejected the typically nasty, desperate and negative Labour campaign.  This was a record victory for the Conservatives in Abbey Meads.

Labour - 266 (11%)
